Needless to list things to do in NYC, there’s so much this city has to offer that you can do whatever comes in your mind.

Nonetheless, there’s one thing I really enjoyed and that I’d really like to share with you: the sunset cruise on the Hudson River.

This sightseeing tour takes you discovering NYC from the water, and while you get to choose between a few itineraries we choose the “Harbor lights cruise” which took us around in the golden hour.

If the big Apple is one of the most beautiful cities in the world, at sunset it really takes your breath away.

I will never forget the skyscrapers glittering on the water, the well known skyline in the golden light, while cruising to the Statue of Liberty, and the two bridges, Brooklin and Manhattan.

While cruising, the guide didn’t just informed us with facts about the city, he made us dream through the stories of Marilyn Monroe, Frank Sinatra, Liza Minnelli, the Jazz scene, the roaring 20 and much more, narrated as a old grandpa does to his grand son.

The Circle Line boat departs from Pier 83 W.42nd Street & 12th Avenue, lasts for a hour and a half and costs 35 $.

And it’s worth every single penny.
