It’s hard to describe Santorini in words.
I still haven’t seen a sunset that can beat Santorini’s ones, and I heartly miss that heavenly island every single time I see pictures of it.
It’s still hard to describe it in pictures, cause its beauty it’s so astounding that you just have to go there and be amazed in person.
Until then, I’ll try to amaze you with this picture bomb.
I bet it won’t take long for you to pack your summer essentials and book any flight heading that direction!
Ladies and Gentlemen, Santorini:
all of these pictures were taken last year, when I haven’t taken photography lessons:
I was using highest ISO during the day (that’s why they are a bit “foggy”),
and my lens was greasy from fingertips…. -_-
I’m so bummed they’re not better pictures, but I think
they can still convey the incredible beauty of that place!
They were all taken in Imerovigli, one of Santorini’s villages,
and in my opinion, the best village to be based in.
Info and tips on accommodation will follow.
Have you ever been to this spectacular island?
I agree, your pictures are pretty convincing! I’ve never been, but Greece has been at the top of my list for a long time now!

Are they? Thank you I hope you get to Greece soon, you are going to love it!!
You’re pictures are great and I hate to be a debby downer but I did not like Santorini. Expensive tourist trap. I’ve got a post about it. The sunset is amazing but after seeing that, the only other place I liked was the black sand beach on the southern part of the island.
I had a MUCH better time on Milos. I cannot say enough good things about that island and the many others there.

Hi Shaun! The world is a great place cause we are all different with our own taste! I personally adored Santorini, and beside the breathtaking sunset I could barely find the time to do all the other great stuff the island has to offer! I’ll talk about it on the next posts! And now I want to go to Milos
I’ve never been to Santorini, but I’ve heard great things about this island.
Wow! Your pictures are amazing… and you are beautiful – as always 😀

You’re pics are great – and I can’t wait to get to Santorini (and a whole lot of other places in Greece) one day! I didn’t notice the fogginess (or greasy-fingerness), so I wouldn’t have known anything was wrong with them

Thanks Manuela! You are so sweet Santorini is wondeful, a one-of-a-kind place in the world! You have to go
Thanks so much Katie! I can’t wait to get to all the other places in Greece as well
Lovely pictures. But can I ask if I’m correct that you took all this pictures in Oia? Personally I liked Oia the least. I loved Perissa, which was very alive. Too bad you didn’t have more pictures of the rest. Because Oia, Fira, Perissa and so on are really different in my opinion.
Anyway, enjoyed your pics 😉

Hi Kim! All of these pictures actually are from Imerovigli! To me, the most scenic village in Santorini. Actually we didn’t even visited Perissa, unluckily. We were in Santorini just for a couple of days, and didn’t find the time. A second visit to that wonderful island is on my list!!
