The first time I saw the Pacific Ocean I was in a cab that took me from Bondi Junction to our hostel in Bondi Beach.
I will never forget it.
Through the little streets and through the hibiscus flowers, suddenly, there it was.
The Pacific Ocean.
It felt a bit like that time, a morning when leaving our hotel in Venice Beach. After a few blocks walking in the pleasant suburb’s vibrant atmosphere, there it was again.
Majestic, infinite, behind the broad iconic beach and the palms and below the California sun.
We spent the whole day at the beach, walking from Venice to Santa Monica and back.
In the January California sun, we walked around in T-shirt, carrying the All Stars while feeling the sands under bare feet, discovering the Venice hippie atmosphere, shops and cafès.
Once in Santa Monica we stopped by the iconic pier to get a bite (I had the best veggie burger of my life at the Pierburger!) and to be childish on the Pacific Park!
I strongly advice to get on the Pacific wheel! From there you can enjoy a breathtaking view over the beaches and the ocean, and it’s kinda teen charming
I didn’t dare the rollercoaster after the burger 😉
After lunch, we lied on the beach and just enjoyed the sun and the California breeze and the sound of the ocean.
My boyfriend’s cousin Dylan,
he manages one of the coolest bands of Las Vegas scene: Rusty Maples!
Their song “Monsoon” made the soundtrack of our USA trip!
views from on top of the Pacific Wheel!
You might think my bandana is very cool, truth is I had a very bad hair day 😀
Have you ever been in Santa Monica or the Pacific Park?

Thank you Memographer! It is indeed! Especially if you think that it was shot in January!

I like the bandana, but it looks like you have the kind of hair that does messy well, so I can’t imagine you having that bad a hair day
