FROM MALIBU TO LAS VEGAS-5

I feel a bit melanchonic now while writing the last post about our recent trip to the US.

As I went through the pictures I recalled those moments, when leaving L.A. we briefly stopped at Malibu for a last glance at the Pacific Ocean and then continued to Las Vegas and towards the end of our trip.

The landscapes were fantastic, I felt a bit sad :(

I’m an airport crier.

The trip back was funny though.

You can see me happily posing in the first picture boasting my adored hired Mustang, truth is I wrecked the car uncarefully backing from a very difficult parking at 40 km/h, scratched the right door and completely eradicated the right side mirror from its site so that just an annoying little part remained attached, enough for it to constantly bump at the door for the entire 5 hours road trip.

What? I’m blonde!!

Without side mirror, having no familiarization at all with the roads, with J telling me when to overtake cars because of the missing mirror, and Cynthia guiding me with her metallic voice, we somehow survived the trip and sadly reached our last night in Vegas.

Instead of gambling away all the remaining money and dance on the casinos tables, after the long trip I recovered in my room at the Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas and fell asleep in the Japanese soaking tub.
